After 10 wonderful years at the Gladstone location, Circle of Sky moved to new studio at NE 26th and Everett in the Kerns neighborhood. We’re so excited to be there, especially after a cathartic process of sorting through a decade’s worth of artwork and rethinking the workspace and process. Not to mention introducing a new muse and member of the family to the studio life.
This effort led to some magic of sorts in finding a new home for a large easel. The night before we were to move and still lacking a plan, we had the pleasure of meeting Emma Gerigscott, an emerging artist, fabulous painter and grad of the Oregon College of Arts and Crafts. Turns out Emma needed an easel, and less than 24 hours later, there it landed in her studio at the Troy Laundry Building. Two problems solved while new friends made.
